The spirit of being in Atma is the passion to pursue academics and develop personality to face corporate world through extracurricular activities. The best part about Atma is, the platform that we create for students to develop 'decision making' capability. Student welfare is responsible for matters related to students’ health care, prevention of ragging, any mishaps, arranging student loans, Accommodations, Transport, Vehicle Parking etc. Participation in Extracurricular activities like JOSH, JOSH CAFE and THINK BIZZ give ample opportunities for students in developing leadership qualities.
At Atma, we provide a platform to all Bangalore based Colleges to join hands to create beautiful idea called JOSH which provides students opportunities to express themselves in cultural activities, Extra Curricular, Co-Curricular and Social Service. Atma expects JOSH and Josh Cafe to build Team Building Skills, Public Speaking, Debating Skills, and Leadership to create a healthy competition. Josh Cafe will be conducted on regular basis for all Students @Atma and Inter Collegiate Josh Cafe event will be conducted once in a month on a Saturday chosen.
Think Business Series is year-long drive to improve management and commerce student holistically; Think Biz is a platform which provides opportunity for Atma students on a weekly basis to undertake various outbound exercises, In Classlearnings, assignments & trainings, Comprehensive understanding of Business News Paper and Various campaigns. Think Biz is also a platform for students who are Entrepreneur minded to join hands with Atma Students or Students from other Colleges to create Business Plan.
Students interested in any of the above mentioned activities can take part and work with some of the experienced faculties. They are given training in various disciplines, to help them function effectively. The volunteers assist in organizing various events right from Inauguration to Graduation Day and form the 'back-bone' of the University.
As per UGC Regulations, 2009 on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions under para 6.3 (a & c), Atma College has constituted an Anti ragging Committee and Anti ragging Squad headed by Prof. D.. Venkatesan, Principal , to curb the menace of ragging.

In this Lounge, located in the Students Home @ 2nd floor, Students can relax playing Carom/Chess, Table Tennis and reading News papers/Magazines.
Well structured with facilities such as hot water, cleaning and laundry and is walk able distance from campus which helps students to use all other facilities within the campus.
Students are welcome to the office of the Chairman and Managing Director or Students Welfare to discuss about their difficulties which can include worries such as academic work, personal relationships, examination panic, depression and anxiety. Counseling can also include students who want to suggest their ideas and topics that might be useful to them in their personal and academic lives.
