The spirit of being in Atma is the passion to pursue academics and develop personality to face corporate world through extracurricular activities. The best part about Atma is, the platform that we create for students to develop 'decision making' capability. Student welfare is responsible for matters related to students’ health care, prevention of ragging, any mishaps, arranging student loans, Accommodations, Transport, Vehicle Parking etc. Participation in Extracurricular activities like JOSH, JOSH CAFE and THINK BIZZ give ample opportunities for students in developing leadership qualities.
At Atma, we provide a platform to all Bangalore based Colleges to join hands to create beautiful idea called JOSH which provides students opportunities to express themselves in cultural activities, Extra Curricular, Co-Curricular and Social Service. Atma expects JOSH and Josh Cafe to build Team Building Skills, Public Speaking, Debating Skills, and Leadership to create a healthy competition. Josh Cafe will be conducted on regular basis for all Students @Atma and Inter Collegiate Josh Cafe event will be conducted once in a month on a Saturday chosen.
Think Business Series is year-long drive to improve management and commerce student holistically; Think Biz is a platform which provides opportunity for Atma students on a weekly basis to undertake various outbound exercises, In Classlearnings, assignments & trainings, Comprehensive understanding of Business News Paper and Various campaigns. Think Biz is also a platform for students who are Entrepreneur minded to join hands with Atma Students or Students from other Colleges to create Business Plan.
Students interested in any of the above mentioned activities can take part and work with some of the experienced faculties. They are given training in various disciplines, to help them function effectively. The volunteers assist in organizing various events right from Inauguration to Graduation Day and form the 'back-bone' of the University.
Career Development Planning (CDP) is designed to provide you with the self-understanding and necessary tools to establish a meaningful career. Participating in CDP ensures that you are exposed to academic knowledge and career management skills to be successful in life. The aim of the program is to assist individuals by providing information on career opportunities available in the world so that one can identify their area of interest and achieve their potential.
Atma has enjoyed excellent placement for all the students who have graduated so far. Normally the placements in Atma commence in the beginning of the final year (Pre-final Semester) i.e. in the month of June. Prior to this, an invitation is sent to all previous recruiters in the month of May. Along with the invitation a form is provided seeking the company profile & information. After getting the responses from the companies, they are prioritized and a schedule is prepared. The date of visit is intimated to the companies in May. On the allotted day the company visits the campus, makes pre-placement talk, conducts tests and interviews and selects the candidates.
Atma EAT - Employability Assessment Test Series is year-long Assessment drive AclivTechnologies undertake (along with Atma) to hire for their end Client needs. Atmavisits cities for Pool Campus EAT or On Campus EAT which starts from September 15thand runs throughout the year till April 1st Week, the Results of EAT will be announced and runs throughout the year till April 1st Week, the Results of EAT will be announcedin Second Week of April every year.Generally the cut off is 40, relaxation up-to 30 ismade based on end client needs.The Selected EAT candidates will be provided trainingunder Soft Skill Development Programme @ Atma Campus.
Atma College (Acliv technology and management academy) powered by Acliv Technologies, has been conducting Soft Skill Development Programme to enable MBA,Degree & Engineering Students to make them JOB ready, Skill Ready. As we allkeep hearing that not even 30% of MBA Post graduates, Commerce, Arts, Science,Engineering graduates are employable. Atma has undertaken this on a Pro Bono basiswhich means Free of Charge (NO Hidden Charges). We have intensified Skill Development programmes after the call given by our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi,we want to join his hands in making students employable. We also encourage studentsto understand our Think Biz Platform which Creates Leaders & Entrepreneurs.Atmaand Acliv has impeccable track record in placing students in Fortune 100 &Fortune 1000 Companies, MNCs, IT Companies, Tech Companies, Financial Institutions,Retail, Banking.
As per UGC Regulations, 2009 on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions under para 6.3 (a & c), Atma College has constituted an Anti ragging Committee and Anti ragging Squad headed by Prof. D.. Venkatesan, Principal , to curb the menace of ragging.

In this Lounge, located in the Students Home @ 2nd floor, Students can relax playing Carom/Chess, Table Tennis and reading News papers/Magazines.
Well structured with facilities such as hot water, cleaning and laundry and is walk able distance from campus which helps students to use all other facilities within the campus.
Students are welcome to the office of the Chairman and Managing Director or Students Welfare to discuss about their difficulties which can include worries such as academic work, personal relationships, examination panic, depression and anxiety. Counseling can also include students who want to suggest their ideas and topics that might be useful to them in their personal and academic lives.
